The government has recently relaxed its lockdown restrictions, which has meant that we have been able to bring people back to the Tea Rooms. We have welcomed so many of you to join us and enjoy your weekends, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more of you as restrictions are relaxed further.
We have noticed that our booking system has not been working as we have intended, which means that some of you have had to contact us via Facebook or Google to place your bookings. We have been trying to improve our booking system for a while, we have been listening to messages from you, and we have been working to make things easier and better. We’ve looked at new contact form systems, in-house booking systems, and third-party booking systems, to provide you with the best and easiest experience to manage your bookings.
That’s why we have partnered with TableAgent to provide a dedicated booking system for Healey Dell Tea Rooms. If you visit https://www.healeydelltearooms.co.uk/book-a-table/, you will see a widget that will allow you to directly make a reservation at the Tea Rooms. By partnering with a dedicated third party, we can make it easier for you to place a booking and enjoy your time with us. We will start using TableAgent for individual bookings from today onwards, and we are putting in place systems for larger bookings when lockdown restrictions are further relaxed.
To make a reservation, visit our booking page and select your date and time, as well as your party size. When you click “Continue”, you will be sent directly to TableAgent to continue your booking. If you want to manage future bookings, you can register with TableAgent for free and make future bookings, as well as directly cancel and modify bookings.
We hope you will be patient with us, in case there are teething issues. We have tested the system, and we are confident that many of the major issues have been worked out, but please let us know if you continue to experience any issues. We have looked at a number of systems and TableAgent is the best one that we’ve seen so far. We’re still monitoring any issues with bookings, and we’ll update you if we make any further changes.
