Heritage Tea Rooms
Maximum capacity: 25 people
Our Heritage Room is decorated tastefully to reflect the Edwardian charm, with three large windows and located at ground level. The room itself is lit by two Victorian-style chandeliers and features a wealth of local and historical information of the Healey Dell area on display. The information itself is well presented on ornate gold swept frames. You will also find bone china, copper pots and unique tea pots on display. This room has disabled access with disabled toilets and a baby-changing station. The room offers privacy and other facilities including WIFI, music and projection facilities.
Healey Dell Main Tea Room, Level 1
Maximum capacity: 50 people
Our main tearoom transports you back into the Edwardian period. The grand piano at one end of the tearoom has stunning views of the meandering River Spodden. Several windows open up the day light into this tearoom with views of the historic munitions factory, old police station, a mill, chemists and a magazine store. A small window reveals the River Spodden and its beautiful banks which opens into the dell area. This tearoom overlooks the riverside garden as well as the tea garden of the heritage centre. These rooms are brightly lit by chandeliers and is ideal for a larger group and live performances. Our bar is also located at this level.
Healey Dell Tea Gardens
Maximum capacity: 50 people
Our tea garden is suited for a medium to large party. The garden overlooks the Spodden and faces the munitions wall on the other side. It’s private and secluded, with wooden picnic benches and decked seating, is ideal for outdoor dining, barbeque and live performances (weather permitting). Gazebos and temporary shelters can be arranged on request.
Riverside Gardens
Maximum capacity: 50 people
Our riverside garden is suitable for private parties and has shelter from the elements. It overlooks the river Spodden and has beautiful bank and wooded area. It is surrounded by wildlife and perfect for events such as wedding and bridal parties, naming ceremonies, anniversaries and many more.
